PC Triage

Bring your sick tower or laptop in and we will endever to ix it while you wait for just £7.50 (15 mins max). If system requires a longer stay the triage is still due, however if you think its going to take a longer stay then simpley book your system in and it will be repair in order of booking number.

Trade in Your Notebook
You can now trade in your old notebook negotiable on any system in the Shop Premises or on the Online shop systems (Not online Superstore). And we will save any data from your old system  and put it on your New one (if Possible) free of charge.

No Fix No Fee
If we can not fix your system there is no fee due (pc triage and laptops not included). However if we offer you a fix and you choose not to have the repair completed, there will be a one hour fee due. Prices are available on our prices page.

  Why In store Repair?
  
  The benefits of in store repair are:

• Price, we only charge for time spent on your pc, there is no charge for sitting and watching your pc defrag etc.
•  Also there are no call-out fees.
• All repairs can be completed in one go, we don't always have the necessary tools or parts to fix your pc with us on a home visit. Some faults require specialist tools or parts we can not predict before arriving at your home.
  
• You will get to seen our extensive range of accessories and supplies, after all we all need Ink and Paper.
  Hardware Problems
  We build, maintain and upgrade hundreds and hundreds of machines for our clients. All computers suffer from problems from time to time and we are experts at getting to the bottom of them.
  
  Protect your Data
  We specialise in saving your old data, photos, e.mail's etc if possible. We will never wipe your machine without trying to save your data and restoring it again if required. Or at least consulting you first.
  
  Operator Problems
  So it just will not do what you want? We have found that many "hardware problems" are just down to lack of experience of the operator, we appreciate this and that is why, be it problems getting on the net to just typing a letter, let us help.
  
  Built to Order
  We do not sell new pre-built and pre-configured systems, all our new systems are built to order, for the following reasons.
  
  
  • Any defects that you may get with your new system (not that there are many) can be fixed within a few days, if not a few hours. We know exactly what is in your case and carry most parts in house and therefore we have no need to send it away for repair for weeks on end.
    
  • You get what you want rather than what we need to sell. Many Computer shops have millions of pounds worth of stock awaiting in the wings so desperately need to shift the ones on the shelf, as a result the computer that they will recommend to you will be the one they need to shift rather than the one you really need.
    
  • Maybe the package you want is perfect but you have just bought a new monitor and don't want another one when there is a nice new one at home already. Or you want a DVD writer and the package offered only has a CD writer. This is not going to happen with us as we build all our systems to order and can add or takeaway items at your request, refunding or adding a fee accordingly.
    
  • All our new systems that we supply are up to date will all the latest windows patches installed and all the latest virus definitions. You have no need to sit for hours waiting fro the the patches to download while at risk of catching a virus before you have even a chance to try out your new system properly.

    Networking & Databases
    We can supply and fit small networks for home and office use. we can also write you a custom built Access database, as we have for our existing clients such as the J.V.Motors parts database in Torquay.
    
    Maintenance Contracts
    We can offer private or small business's maintenance contracts for support on your existing pc's. For a fixed fee you get a priority free call out (limited to a 50 mile radius). And 10% discount on all required parts. This service is limited to hardware support only. Software failure hot fix's are discounted also at 10%. You are entitle to one software support visit for free in any one contract period.
    
    Upgrades
    Where possible we can offer an upgrade service on your old tired PC. Be it from installing a larger hard-drive while keeping your software intact to a complete case refurbishment. In most cases this is much cheaper and less stressful then starting afresh with a new system.
    
    Repairs
    If your modem just went pop or your screen just came up with the blue screen of death, just pop your system (no leads monitors or keyboards required) into the shop or give us a call for a home visit. No fix no fee on shop repairs. If we can't fix it, it probably can't be fixed. We will be honest with you if we think your system is beyond economical repair. Our prices are hard to beat.
    
    IT Advice
    Just want to know the best solution for your IT needs? Come and see us and get impartial advice. We promise to recommend what we believe is the best solution for you, not just what we need to shift. Unlike many large stores we build all our systems to order so we don't have shelves full of outdated stock that we need to shift to make room for new stock. Its amazing how sales people find what you need is right there on the shelf. In our experience most customers have individual requirements from their new systems. Some need graphics powerful system for cad and photo rendering others need superior sound for music. Some people need Powerful systems for playing the latest games while other only require basic systems for office work.
